To dispense drugs / medicines to different wards as per requirement
To review prescriptions (online requisitions) to assure accuracy, to ascertain the needed ingredients, and to evaluate their suitability
To provide information and advice regarding drug interactions, side effects, dosage and medication storage.
Performs or oversees the performance of packaging, labeling, storing and recording medications used in patient care
Receive IP returns indents, check the medicines and make entry in the computer for the same.
Receive narcotic indents in the absence of Manager from wards and dispense the medicines after tallying the number of prescriptions and also empty ampoules received.
Interact with doctors and nurses for any query and give correct information.
Receive the case sheet and do a prescription audit before discharge,
Order Non formulary items from the local purchase and give to the patient
