Job Details An opportunity to work for one of the world’s most admired company. Brief Description • Lead and control the fire team during fire fighting and other emergency. • Fire safety rounds of Plant & CHP area during silent hours. • Issue Hot Work Permits and inspect the area for proper fire safety precautions. • Over all In-Charge for the Shift and manage all shift activities. • Liaise with local authorities for assistance during fire fighting in DMC area. • Responsible to provide ambulance assistance during medical emergencies and liaise with doctors during silent hours. • Deployment /manipulation in duties of firemen/drivers to minimize overtime • Liaise with forest dept/snake rescue team during snake calls. • Maintain & scrutinize Fire Store inventory. • During Shut down monitor all activities related to fire safety. • Conduct Fire Safety & Fire fighting training /drills for duty fire staff. • Conduct internal fire safety audits. • Raise defect notification in SAP system occurred during his shift. • Ensure maintenance & operational availability of Fire Tenders & Ambulance • Ensure maintenance & operational availability of Fire Fighting equipments. • Inspection of Fire Points, Fire Fighting systems of plants for operational availability • Ensure periodic servicing & maintenance of Fire Extinguishers • Conduct Fire Safety training programme for local authorities & students. Qualification - Engineering Graduate Certified Safety professional Exp : Minimum 10 years
